Continuing its drive to reduce the carbon footprint of condensation and mould control treatments and extend its geographical coverage within the social housing sector in the UK, Airtech Environmental Systems has formed a strategic partnership with Wise Property Care in Scotland. Last autumn Airtech forged a similar agreement with Cheshire based Timberwise (UK) Limited.

Wise Property Care is one of Scotland’s leading property specialists and has been delivering property repair, preservation and condensation treatments for homes and commercial premises throughout Scotland for over 12 years. It offers a broad range of services and provides solutions to most property problems including, woodworm, dry rot, wet rot, condensation, rising damp, basement waterproofing and structural repairs.

Based in Glasgow the company has eight offices throughout Scotland and employs qualified surveyors, technicians and association approved sub-contractors. Commenting on the partnership Les Meikle, managing director of Wise Property Care, said: “Adding the condensation and mould control expertise, as well as the energy saving products developed by Airtech, to our portfolio strengthens our capabilities and supports our 20 year guarantee for condensation treatments in this specialist area.”

Airtech will provide core products and technical support for condensation damp and mould control applications. Product lines will include Energysaver™ axial fans, centrifugal and in-line fans for kitchens and bathrooms, positive pressure systems, heat recovery systems, controllers, passive and vapour vents for houses, flats and high rise buildings.

A key benefit and driver within the agreement will be the use of Airtech’s eco-friendly Energysaver™ technology which is widely acknowledged as contributing to reducing the carbon footprint in housing association and local authority properties.
