Airtech Marketing Director steps into the ring to fight for charity at the Brita Boxing Showcase in association with East End Homes and Telford Homes

It’s definitely gloves on as James Whybrow, marketing director at Airtech Environmental Systems, takes part in the Brita Boxing Showcase to raise funds for the Haiti Earthquake Appeal.

Set for Sunday May 23 at the Troxy in venue in Commercial Road, London, the event aims to raise a minimum of £2000. Staged by Walid Ali Promotions and sanctioned by the UK Boxing Union the boxing is presented in association with East End Homes, Telford Homes, Tornado Sports Limited, Gulshan Iqbal Caterers, 3s-Acompany, AI-Ikwan and Brit.Asia.

James, who won his first amateur fight last year, will be among 20 boxers appearing from the East End Boxing Club and BAB Brita Boxing. Many well known boxing personalities will attend the boxing showcase  including Former World Boxing champion Colin MacMillan; European,  WBU Champion Jason Rowland;  WBU Wayne Alexadra;  Former England Captain Errol Christie;  Former British and Commonwealth Champion Sylvester Mittee;  British Common Wealth and European Champion Terry Dunstan and Former England International Boxer Tony Cesay.

Funds will be raised from ticket sales, auctions of signed boxing gloves, raffle prizes and collections during the evening as well as through sponsors Airtech Environmental Systems, the condensation, damp, mould and radon control specialists, and Muscleworks Gym.

Various ticket options are available for anyone who wishes to attend the event. Executive seats at £100 each come with food while VIP ringside table seats are £40 each. Also on offer are upstairs front row seats £35, upstairs VIP seats at £30, downstairs reserved table seats are £30 -unreserved £20 and other upstairs seats cost £10.

2000 tickets are now on sale from www.chilitickets.com. Doors open@ 4.00pm.

All the money raised will go to the DEC Disasters Appeal Haiti Earthquake Appeal.
