Virtually everyone in England is exposed to radon, a naturally occurring radioactive gas caused by tiny particles of uranium present in all rocks, soils, brick and concrete.

Airtech ventilation systems control radon levels. We have hundreds of successful installations, many in the South West of England, a Radon hotspot.

We have the experience to help you assess the risks presented by radon and the products to protect your home or your business. Basically it’s a straightforward process:

• We retest and monitor radon levels

Radon is measured in becquerels (Bq) and the Health Protection Agency recommends that in homes average levels above 200 Bq per cubic centimetre should be reduced.

Where average radon levels are between 200 – 500 Bq generally we recommend fitting a positive pressure system. Above 500 Bq a radon sump fan installation is usually required.
