The Vapour Vent kit The Vapour Vent kit is supplied as a complete kit including:
a 100mm diameter telescopic plastic tube for wall fitting
a fitted vapour membrane
an external grille
an internal grille
fitting instructions.
This membrane acts as a molecular sieve, allowing water vapour to pass to the outside whilst resisting rapid air movement and, therefore, heat loss. Ideal locations for installation are in bedrooms and in particularly cold areas. Most efficient operation is in conjunction with automatic mechanical ventilation in both the kitchen and bathroom.
As draughts are restricted by the membrane, moisture control of bedrooms, etc is achieved without discomfort to the occupants.
